WE’RE MOVING + we’ve got a whole new look (new website AND branding!)

As many of you know, our little family is moving, and with that comes a fresh new website and brand. If you want the full story, keep reading. If not, just know how deeply grateful I am for your love and support. I wouldn’t be here without you 🫶

Back in April, my husband and I felt prompted to start looking for a new home. We moved out of our townhome, got renters, and moved in with my in-laws to save. At first, we assumed we would buy here in Utah, but in September we felt strongly that we needed to move to South Carolina.

This was not an easy decision with family here, my husband’s job here, and my business rooted here. Faith is a huge part of our lives, and we trust this is where we are meant to be.

Utah has blessed my business in countless ways. I’ve photographed so many amazing couples who have become friends, and I will forever cherish that season. As we move to South Carolina, I’m excited to build a new community filled with joy, connection, and love.

Thank you to every client who has supported my dream and to everyone who has followed along and cheered me on. I’m so grateful for you. We will be visiting Utah yearly, and I hope to photograph many of you again 🫶

Hi, I’m Lalee (Lolly)! I’m the photographer behind Love, Lalee Photography. I’m here for the real, candid moments. The kind of photos that feel like you when you look back at them. If you’re wondering where I’ve been, we’ve spent the year finishing our basement, moving, finishing my bachelors degree (in Photography 😉) and have plans for another move soon. Any guess where we’re moving to? 👀 that announcement is coming soon!

A little about me: I married my best friend Chris in 2023, we have the sweetest pup named Bella, and I became a mama this year, which is exactly what I’ve dreamed of doing my entire life, and I LOVE IT.

When I’m not taking photos, I’m usually chasing our baby girl around the house, doing homework, outside walking, cooking, swimming, or watching a show with Chris.

Hey friends!
It’s me, alive and well! I’ve been off my business social medias for a while and it’s been one of the best things for me.

I found myself constantly comparing my work to those around me and my success with theirs so it just had to go. But I’ve been busier than ever with my business and could not be more grateful! I’ve had so many opportunities to work with some AMAZING couples and I honestly can’t express how much it means to me that I’m trusted with such important memories.

Along with helping my business flourish, I’ve been working on completing my Liberal Arts associate (which I officially finished 2 weeks ago!!), continuing my education by working on my Bachelors, and my hubby and I found out that we are expecting a sweet baby girl at the end of December! With all the busyness of my personal life, I’ve still found so much joy in documenting my couples and hope to continue to do so.

With our baby news being shared, I’d also like to share my maternity leave which will start October 31, 2024 and will likely continue through March 2025.

If you’re hoping to work together, reach out soon so we can arrange something! I’m also offering 10% off to any NEW couples who book their wedding with me between now and September!

Let’s talk about vows. It can be overwhelming when trying to figure out where to start. Here are a few things to think about get you started:
•what did you think marriage was when you were little? What were you most excited about?
•what qualities do your partner have that you’ve always looked for?
•when was the moment you first knew you loved them or wanted to marry them?
•what’s a memory you cherish most with your partner?
•what are some of your inside jokes?
•what promises do you want to make to them? What are you going to do to keep them?
•what do you envision your life with them to be like?
•what attributes do you hope your future children have from them?
•what do you love most about them?

This is a short list but hopefully it helps jumpstart your brain on what to say! Vows are about your love and what you mean to each other. Just let the love flow ❤️

“Do you have any formal training?”
I’ve been asked this a few times and my answer is, yes. I took a semester off this fall but I’ll be returning to school in January to finish my degree in photography. I love the challenge of school work and learning from my peers and honestly I’ve been going a little crazy not having homework 😂 I’m excited to get back and finesse my work even more ❤️
Now I’m curious… do you like school or is it just me?
