Hi! It’s me, Taylor.

It’s not my natural instinct to be in front of the camera or draw attention to myself but you need to know who is behind this camera! So how about we start with 7 fun things you might not know about me?

1. I have a bit of a geek side - I’m a Disney world Pass holder, play video games (mostly Nintendo), loves Star Wars and movies in general, and anime. Don’t ask me about ACOTAR or housewives tv (no judgements if that’s your thing) ask me about Andor or what’s my favorite snack in each park in DW.

2. I have two different colored eyes, a green eye and a brown eye! This is always my one fun fact about myself in group settings.

3. I do not care if my socks match but if the dishwasher is loaded “incorrectly” I might go mad.

4. I probably forgot to grab something while at the grocery store and will have to go back

5. I am food driven, if you tell me there will be food, I am almost always 100% there. And I will go out if my way for GOOD food.

6. My favorite places I’ve been so far are Jackson hole or Paso Robles. My top destination on my bucket list is Japan!

7. I’m an OG swiftie. Reputation is my favorite album. Don’t ask me to rank the rest, it changes with the seasons.

My hot take? I don’t care if you are “photogenic”,
if you show up in a designer outfit,
Or if you know how to pose.

What I actually care about?

That you can have fun and be present in the moment,
that you don’t take yourself too seriously,
that your presentation is not more valuable than how you feel,
And that you can trust the process and trust your photographer/vendors to do right by you.

That is what creates photos that feel like lasting genuine memories.

The struggle with keeping up a curated presence and coming up with intriguing captions vs just sharing work that I am proud of and find interesting in the hopes that you do too… it’s tiring y’all. I hate feeling performative, yet going against the algorithmic tide will only do so much. Anywayyyyy, using this image as a reminder to slow down and smell the dang flowers cause life is moving so so fast. I mean, I have a one year old in a couple weeks! Craziness!
