Big news! I’m moving to Austin, TX 🤠 I’m so so excited to start this next chapter of my life in this city! I’ve been longing to live in Texas for so long and I have God to thank for everything. He is truly so good and I’m so incredibly grateful. You’ll be seeing more of this family on feed. 🤍

I’m back to posting sporadically again. 🙈
I’ve been meaning to share one of my favorite sessions from late last year! This sweet couple got engaged and flew to Florida from Wisconsin to celebrate and get their engagement photos taken. If I remember correctly, he wasn’t even aware that photos were part of the getaway lol. But they were so much fun, and the weather was perfect too!

We had to switch beaches at the last minute because of hurricane damage. Indian Rocks Beach ended up being a great backup, considering the circumstances. I’m so glad it all worked out, and the photos turned out amazing!

Now, I do have some news to share: I moved!
I’m currently living in Sarasota and will primarily be focusing my photography in this area. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to have lived in Tampa and meet so many wonderful people.

I’m excited to take photos here in Sarasota and it’s arguably one of the most beautiful places in Florida. Looking forward to meeting future clients and exploring this gorgeous area! ☺️

One of the things I love about family photos is that I get to put kids on the spot. When I take candid photos, I don’t want to be the distraction for kids to take their focus off their parents. The best way to do this is to ask them questions that requires them to think before they say something. By this point, they’ve forgotten I’m there!

For these photos, I specifically asked the kids to name one thing they love about their father. They think for a second, but then start saying things like “he’s really nice,” or “he takes care of our family.”

One of the kids then said, “he makes a lot of money,” and I about lost it. 🤣 Kids will say the truth, which is why I love family pictures!!
