I met this couple in the fairly early stages of my career. At the time I was feeling so defeated and worried whether or not I was actually going to make it as an artist. To make a name for yourself in such large scaled industry was becoming more and more challenging.
When I met Jen and Tyler at the location the first time I remember seeing how beautiful, kind, and loving they were so immediately said to myself “you got to make this good, Lauren!”. From the very second the session started I felt this feeling I had yet to find. The feeling of confidence, the feeling of hope and empowerment. I got in my car afterwards and cried on my way home because for the first time I felt like it was possible for me to really make it as an artist. They allowed me to be myself and to express my creativity through them. That session changed the whole trajectory of my career! So many great things has happened for us since then. They now are married and expecting their first child. And they gave me the blessing of documenting this moment in their lives! I tear up just thinking about our walk together through our own life journey’s and how God has always found a way to keep bringing us back together. He knew I needed them; they’re my angels sent from above.
Jen and Tyler, I love you guys so much. I already love Lincoln, too! I am so excited for you two to embark on this new adventure in life. You will make the most incredible parents. Congratulations my friends! And thank you for being my A-1’s since day one!
