I did a photoshoot of my son doing what he loves to do. Swim. Because passion is important. And so is hard work and perseverance. At the beginning of the summer Eli had just learned the strokes. We threw him onto a swim team with the knowledge that he was way behind his peers. He started the season consistently getting last place, barely able to make it across without stopping and ended the season getting second place in his best stroke. We are so proud of him and the grit it took as a 9 year old to come in last over and over and keep showing up anyway.
