A quiet morning on Lido with the sweetest (and cutest — I mean, come onnnnn 😍🥰) family of five.

We traded golden hour for sunrise, and the soft light, empty shoreline, and slow start felt like the perfect fit. Three darling little ones, sandy toes, bribes of sprinkle donuts 🍩, and that in-between kind of magic you only get when the beach still feels half asleep… sign me up. 👏🏻🤌🏻

And friendly reminder: don’t sleep on sunrise sessions (literally). ✨ They’re soft, peaceful, a little unexpected — and absolutely worth the early alarm.

This last weekend of summer feels a little bittersweet. ✨

Part of me is so ready for the rhythm that a new school year brings—the routines and predictability after a season that always flies by. But another part of me wants to press pause.

My three little shadows have followed me everywhere this summer. They’ve needed snacks, hugs, rides, bandages, and a million “Mom, watch this!” moments. I know there will come a day when they don’t need me in quite the same way.

And while I know that’s exactly how it’s supposed to be… I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t make my heart ache a little.

So this weekend, I’m soaking in the chaos. The sticky fingers, the endless questions, the constant interruptions, and all the little moments that somehow become the ones you miss most.

Summer, you’ve been sweet. 🤍

Some sessions feel familiar before you even realize why… ✨

We spent the evening wandering Phillippi Estate Park, celebrating this sweet season before they become a family of four. Somewhere between chasing a curious two-year-old and soaking in the summer light, we realized our kids go to the same school… and they had just purchased the home of a good friend. Totally coincidental, but such a small world.
