I know I’ve said it before, but I LOVE small, intimate weddings!!!!! 🥹❤️

And yesterday, I was lucky enough to capture such a beautiful and special day for this amazing couple! Surrounded by their closest friends, who not only witnessed their love but also officiated their beautiful ceremony, they exchanged vows and promised forever to one another. 💍✨

There’s just something so incredibly special about weddings like these. The love, the laughter, the personal touches, and the moments that are all about what truly matters — two people choosing each other. ❤️

🖤🦇 Yesterday’s session was extra sweet celebrating Matty, aka “Baby Bat,” and her almost 1st birthday with her little family! 🎂🖤

This adorable girl stole the show with her precious cheeks, the cutest dimples, and even a few toothy grins! 😍🦷 And of course, we had to add a little spooky magic for the girl who loves all things spooky! 🕸️🦇

A little rain? No problem. ☔️❤️

Yesterday, Mallory and Shane proved that you don’t need sunshine and blue skies for an amazing engagement session! They were totally up for the challenge, even when the weather decided to give us a little bit of everything. It definitely wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine, but the foliage was ON POINT. 🍂✨

That heavy cloud cover actually worked in our favor, making all those gorgeous fall colors pop against the warm earth tones they chose to wear. The result? 😍

Mallory had warned me ahead of time that Shane was a little nervous because he’s not exactly a fan of having his photo taken. But you would never know it! He absolutely crushed it, and this session was the perfect warm-up for their wedding next year. I think by the time the big day rolls around, he’ll be a total pro. 😉

We got SO many amazing shots, and I can’t wait to share more, but for now, here are a few sneak peeks of these two! 💍🍁

🍂 What a fun little fall morning with Ryan, Shelby, and Hudson! They’re visiting the Adirondacks to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary, and I’m so glad they squeezed in a mini session while they’re here. ❤️

The leaves are just starting to turn, the air was crisp, and this sweet family was absolutely adorable! And to top it off, we discovered they don’t even live too far from where we spend our winters. Small world! 🥰

Happy 5th anniversary, Ryan & Shelby! It was so much fun capturing this little piece of your Adirondack getaway. 🍁📸

There is something special about intimate weddings.

When it’s just your closest friends and family, there seems to be a little less drama and a little more room to simply be present—to soak in the quiet moments, the meaningful glances, and the joy of the day. Don’t get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a big bash! But these quieter celebrations just seem to call to me.

Yesterday’s wedding was exactly that. Simple in size, but anything but simple in beauty and meaning.

A beautiful gown and a long veil. A bouquet of deep red roses. A boutonniere that held more than just a flower. Friends gathered to celebrate. And, woven through it all, the presence of their faith.

It was a beautiful reminder that a wedding doesn’t have to be grand to be extraordinary. Sometimes, the most meaningful celebrations are the ones shared with the people who matter most.

Sashana and Dave, thank you for allowing me to be there to capture and celebrate this special day with you. It was an honor to witness these moments and preserve them for you to remember for years to come.

There’s something extra special about photographing families who come back year after year. ❤️

I absolutely love being a small part of people’s vacations—and even more, when that vacation becomes a tradition to pause, reconnect, and document the season of life they’re in.

Yesterday’s session with this returning family was such a joy. Two hilarious boys, so much personality, and a beautiful couple who are giving their boys an incredible example of what love, partnership, and family can look like as they grow.

Watching these boys change from one session to the next is one of the sweetest parts of what I get to do. These photographs aren’t just about remembering what they looked like on vacation—they’re about remembering who they were together in this chapter of their lives.

So grateful to be welcomed back into their family story, year after year. And so grateful they’ve chosen to make documenting these moments part of their tradition. ✨
