Remember approximately five minutes ago when I dramatically announced that I was DONE posting for the night?

**WELL, THAT WAS A LIE.** 🤡🤣

Apparently, I had one more gallery up my sleeve, and honestly, what better way to wrap up this absolute marathon of a day than with **A WHOLE LOT OF FAMILY AND AN UNREASONABLE AMOUNT OF PLAID?!** ❤️🍂

And I mean... A LOT of plaid. 😂

This next session was a full-blown **FAMILY REUNION**, and I absolutely LOVED the creativity behind their outfits!

Each individual family showed up sporting its own unique plaid pattern, representing their family ties while still coming together as one big, beautiful crew! 🥹❤️

Different patterns, different personalities, different branches of the family tree... **but all connected by the same roots.** 🌳🍁

And can we just appreciate the level of coordination it takes to get an ENTIRE extended family together, dressed, and ready for photos?! Because that deserves an award all on its own. 😂👏

These are the kinds of photos I love knowing will be looked back on for generations. The big group shots, the little family moments, the laughter, and the beautiful chaos of having everyone together in one place. ❤️

**One big family. A whole lot of love. And enough plaid to outfit a small lumberjack convention.** 🪵🤣

Closing out tonight's absolute ATTACK on your Facebook feed with a familiar face returning in front of my lens! 🥹📸

This beautiful **Class of 2027 senior** is back for **PART TWO of her FOUR-PART SEASONAL SENIOR SERIES!** 🍁✨

Four seasons. Four completely different backdrops. One incredible senior year. ❤️

We kicked things off with her first session, and now we're embracing all the gorgeous colors and cozy autumn vibes that come with FALL in the Adirondacks! 🍂🤎

And can I just say how much I LOVE this concept?!

Rather than squeezing an entire senior experience into one afternoon, we get to document an entire year of memories, changing seasons, different styles, and all the excitement that comes with this chapter of life.

**Two sessions down, two more seasons to go!** ❄️🌷

And now, after starting my day at 4:30 this morning, photographing, editing, accidentally going on a wilderness expedition, booking more sessions, and spending an ungodly number of hours glued to my computer...

Because apparently, taking cute fall photos on dry land just wasn't adventurous enough for these two! 🤣📸

We're back with another **BESTIES SESSION**, and this time, these ladies decided to take their friendship photos to the NEXT LEVEL!

There's just something about autumn in the Adirondacks that makes family photos extra special. The colors, the crisp air, the beautiful scenery, and the memories being made in the middle of it all. 🥹🍂

I absolutely LOVE getting to capture these moments, and this family was no exception! ❤️

🚨📸 **WARNING: YOUR NEWSFEED IS ABOUT TO BECOME A DAPPER DANES CO. HOSTAGE SITUATION.** 📸🚨

Because apparently, I don't understand the concept of a ✨day off✨.

I started working at **4:30 THIS MORNING.** YES. A.M. AS IN BEFORE THE SUN EVEN CONSIDERED CLOCKING IN. 💀

Spent hours editing, paused for a photoshoot, and then somehow ended up on an impromptu walk around Horseshoe Lake because I MASSIVELY misjudged the distance between two locations and apparently decided my day needed an unsolicited wilderness side quest. 🫠🌲

Eventually made it home, took a quick nap because my body was threatening to file a formal complaint, and then crawled right back into the editing trenches.

AND I AM JUST. NOW. FINISHING. 🤡

Oh, and somewhere in the middle of this absolute circus, **I BOOKED MORE PHOTOSHOOTS.** Because clearly the solution to having absolutely no free time is to schedule MORE THINGS. 🥰

And speaking of which... 👀

🍂 **I STILL HAVE A FEW OCTOBER OPENINGS LEFT!** 🍂

October is what I consider the end of my photography season, so if you've been thinking about booking a session, NOW IS THE TIME! Once those last few spots are gone, that's a wrap on my regular season! 📸🍁

BUT FIRST...

After approximately 47 business hours of editing, what's the next logical step?

**SPAMMING THE ABSOLUTE HELL OUT OF YOUR FACEBOOK FEED WITH PHOTOSHOOTS.** 💅📸

Back to back. Zero regard for the algorithm. Absolutely no concept of work-life balance.

My eyeballs are cooked. My computer is probably considering a restraining order. And my camera roll is a crime scene.

Harmony absolutely killed her senior session, and getting to incorporate the **fire department** into her photos made this one even more special. There’s something about senior portraits that actually showcase who you are, what you love, and the things that have helped shape your story — and this session did exactly that. ❤️

I also wanted to share, anyone expecting a final gallery link from me, please keep in mind during peak season - which for me happens to be August-October - editing and turn-around times take a bit longer, mostly due to the massive input of photos I am taking on over the course of the peak months.

My typically turn-around window is 3-4 weeks, but during peak season can be closer to 6 weeks!

I appreciate everyone booking with me, keeping me moving and keeping me motivated this Fall season! I love all of your support of my business! I can share with you from experience booking with other photographers that this is fairly standard turn-around time - even for full-time photographer!

At the end of the day I'm still a full-time state employee, full-time student, full-time wife and dog mom, and part-time artist/photographer/chaos coordinator 🥰😝

I also want to add that if you are booking a shoot and anticipate a need for the photos sooner than this due to some special circumstance for example, a birthday, gender reveal, etc. I am happy to accommodate that need for you, just communicate that with me ahead of time! ❤️ 📷

I've got 4 shoots on my roster to be done by Sunday, September 27th... if you are waiting for your gallery link - you can expect it by the 27th! ✨️

And YES — Beau-Wrinkle will be in attendance ALL DAY, reporting for his very important duties as DDC’s official event representative, treat inspector, and professional good boy. 😂🐾

Our other very special girl, Maisie — the face behind the DDC logo — will be staying home today, resting those old lady legs. ❤️ She may not be there, but you KNOW she’ll be cheering on all the beautiful doggies from afar… and rooting extra hard for her mama behind the camera.
