There’s no rush in blooming…

Some seasons are for growing roots,
quietly becoming beneath the surface,
learning, healing, stretching toward something you can’t fully see yet.

And then there are seasons where everything begins to unfold…softly, naturally, in its own time.

Not rushed.
Not forced.
Just becoming exactly who you were always meant to be.

I owe a lot of my growth as a photographer to saying yes to things that once felt out of reach.

Styled shoots, workshops, showing up a little nervous but willing to learn…those spaces shaped me more than I can fully put into words. They helped me work through my anxiety, get comfortable with my camera, find my style & step into rooms & moments I wasn’t quite booking on my own yet.

There was a season where I didn’t have the resources to create these kinds of shoots myself, so being able to attend them especially when they were priced in a way that made it possible meant everything. Truly, so much of the foundation of my work started there.

And now being on the other side of that, it’s something I would love to create for other photographers one day *hint hint wink wink* especially those who are in that same season of learning, growing & just needing a space to start.

Diving into the archives & finally sharing a few frames from a workshop I attended almost 6 years ago from … still so grateful for those early “yes” moments. ✨
