One of my favorite things about q***r proposals is there’s no prescribed way to do it, so everyone gets to decide how THEY want to declare long-lasting, life-changing love to their partner. For AJ, they knew they wanted to surprise Bridgett at Armstrong Woods. It was one of the first places they had been to together, so AJ and I (with the help of their friend) made a plan, they picked a spot, and the friend and I quasi-hid for 15 minutes before our lovebirds showed up. (I even asked a car full of people if they would be so kind as to move and come back later - they were blocking the shot!)
Somehow, Bridgett didn’t have a clue, and the surprise was apparent on her face when AJ started reading and dropped to one knee. I always enjoy the moment when the proposed-to realizes there’s a camera on them and it was all a part of the plan!!
Bridgett had proposed to AJ first, so we had both of their gorgeous rings for the shoot. The joy was palpable, and we had a lot of fun taking their post-dual-proposal shots ❤️
Thank you AJ and Bridgett for having me along for such a special day!
