One minute you’re holding those tiny fingers in your hand, and the next they’re running ahead of you, climbing into your lap, and somehow getting just a little bit bigger every time you look at them.

I love photographing families through all of these little seasons — the growing bellies, the baby fingers, the wild toddlers, the new siblings, the whole beautiful, messy story of becoming a family.

Because the little things you think you’ll always remember? Those are the things you’ll want a picture of someday. 🤍

Summer always seems to leave a little too quickly... the sun setting a little earlier, the beach getting quieter, and another season of barefoot days becoming memories.

But that’s what I LOVE about photographs. They let us hold onto the seasons we never wanted to end. The sandy toes, salty hair, windblown smiles, and evenings spent together by the water. 🤍

There’s something about a beach session that makes you want to hold onto the moment a little longer—the salty air, bare feet in the sand, the way your kids run toward the water, the way you look at each other when you forget I’m even there.

But I don’t want those moments to end up buried somewhere in your camera roll.

I want you to pull out an album years from now and remember exactly how small their hands were, how golden the light was, and how this season of your life felt.

Because these photographs were never meant to just live on your phone.

Some sessions just stay with you. 🤍

This maternity + family session with the Rhodes family holds such a special place in my heart. From the very beginning, their connection was so evident—the way they loved on each other, laughed together, and naturally stayed close throughout the entire session.

Mom, Dad, big brother, and their little one on the way. 🤍 There was so much love between them that, even surrounded by the wide-open beach, it felt like it was just the four of them in their own little world.

As a photographer, those are the moments I hope to preserve—the in-between moments, the quiet touches, the genuine laughter, and the love that doesn’t need to be posed.
