Lately I’ve been praying on repeat: “Lord, inspire my creativity to glorify You.” Every story, every image, every wedding day—I want it to point back to Him.

To every couple I’ve had the joy of serving this year… thank you. To those of you getting married this fall—I can’t wait. It’s not lost on me what a gift this is.

And if you’re thinking, “Wait… we still need to book engagement photos 😅”—breathe. You’re not behind. I promise.

You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need someone who gets it—and knows how to make this feel natural, fun, and actually you.

This isn’t about stiff poses or checking a box. I want you to feel like you’re falling in love all over again—with photos that make you forget the camera’s even there.

August always holds a sacred kind of weight.
Our son, William, was born on August 9.
He would’ve been six this year.

It’s hard to believe it’s been three birthdays without him.
Three years of missing.
Three years of having his sister earth-side as an only child.
Three years of learning to live with both grief and gratitude.

Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted…”
And I’ve felt that nearness most in the quiet ache—
not because He fixes the pain,
but because He sits with me in it.

This kind of loss doesn’t close you off.
It opens you—makes you softer, deeper, more available to bless others.

“Happy is the one who can see God’s hand in everything…”
Even in this.

I carry William’s story as a vessel—
not just for me, but for anyone who needs to know that sorrow and sacred can exist in the same breath.

He is still good.
Even here 💚

Why hello! Kelli here, your somewhat camera-averse companion from this tiny part of the internet. To be honest, I thrive on photographing you lovely people in the real world far more than posting here.But, you know, if I don’t put myself out here, I might just end up on the sidewalk with a cute kid and an exasperated husband, playfully begging, “Will photograph for food.” 😄

Friendship is one of God’s greatest blessings, and this weekend I was reminded of just how precious that gift is. Standing by Sagan’s side as she stepped into this beautiful new season of her life becoming Leslie’s wife was a true honor.

Proverbs 12:26 says, ‘The righteous choose their friends carefully,’ and I’m endlessly grateful for the gift of Sagan’s friendship. Together, we’ve grown in faith, encouraged one another, and challenge each other to be the best versions of ourselves.

I didn’t always understand the weight of a God-ordained friendship, but over the past 7 years I’ve learned the blessing it truly is.

Here’s to a lifelong marriage, friendship, and the joy that God’s plans bring to you both. 💖 Congratulations Mr + Mrs Popham!
