I've swapped the plains for the sand but my Oklahoma roots keep me traveling back for seasonal shoots. I’ve photographed this family the last few times they’ve been down here, but this time we got ALL the grandkids together. 🤍
And honestly, this is your sign to do it. Bring everybody. Bring the grandparents, the cousins, all the kids and the chaos and get the damn pictures. 😂

Because vacations come and go, the kids keep getting bigger, and getting everyone in the same place only gets harder.
You don’t need perfect outfits (although they did nail it) or perfectly behaved kids. You just need everybody there.

And I promise you, one day these pictures of all of them together are going to mean a whole lot more than anyone realizes right now.

Baby Wyatt is officially here

This adorable little boy made dang sure he had ALL of our attention while making his entrance into the world… and it only took 45 hours!!

I’m so in awe of his parents, like I truly am. This entire labor was so hard and Makayla was absolutely exhausted but she was also so incredibly powerful through all of it. And getting to watch Liam right there beside her and supporting her and every decision she made for herself and for Wyatt, was such a beautiful thing to see and be apart of.

And now I’m just sitting here trying to wrap my head around the fact that my oldest daughter has her very own baby. Like… she’s a MOM. An actual mom. With a real-life baby!!!!!

And he is absolutely beautiful like just so perfect.

July has been a whirlwind over here like legit whirlwind! Between shooting sessions, editing galleries, answering emails and texts, working around Mother Nature and squeezing in family time, I've been running on coffee, 3 hours of sleep, and beach sunsets.

But honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm so thankful for every family that trusts me with their memories and for all the new inquiries that keep coming in each day.

Bo’s mom told me something that’s stuck with me.

She said the first time you lay eyes on your grandbaby, it’s the most freeing kind of love you’ll ever experience. Different than anything you’ve ever felt before.

I don’t know exactly what that feels like yet, but I do know we’re only a couple weeks away from finding out.

Watching my Makayla become a mom has already been emotional enough. Now we get to meet the little guy who’s been changing all of our lives before he’s even here, and I have a feeling our hearts are about to grow in ways we ever could imagined.

A couple more weeks. 💙

I love when clients tell me the story behind how they found me.

Alexa told me she'd been following my work for a while before their trip to 30A. She kept showing my photos to her husband and saying, "These are the colors I want." 🥹

That honestly never gets old.

They came down from Tennessee for vacation, and we spent the evening chasing waves, watching the sunset, laughing, getting soaked, and creating the kind of photos that don't just remind you what your vacation looked like... they remind you exactly how it felt.

That's one of my favorite things about photography. Years from now you'll probably forget what restaurant you ate at one night or what day you went shopping. But these? These become the photos hanging on your walls. The ones your kids and grandkids will eventually look at.

Summer is flying by, and my calendar is filling up fast. I still have a handful of openings at the end of July, with August through October booking every week. If you've been thinking about doing family photos, couples photos, or even just documenting this season of life while you're visiting 30A, don't wait until the week before your trip.
