It's not about the perfect pose—it's about the giggles, the chaos, and the perfectly imperfect moments that show your family at ease, laid back, and loving each other. It's those in-between shots, when everyone forgets about the camera, that turn out to be the ones you frame and love the most.

A frequent concern I hear from families with little kids is that an hour long session may be too long and that they are afraid their kids won’t cooperate. Well, let me ease some of those concerns! First of all, set yourself up for success and make sure everyone has had plenty of sleep and that their bellies are full before your session. Bring snacks, water and even a favorite toy to your session. We have plenty of time to take breaks at any point.

During your session, I will do my best to make it a fun experience! We’ll laugh and play games and before you know it, your session will fly by! Even if your kids don’t perfectly cooperate, you can rest assured that I have plenty of ways to get great photos no matter what. Trust me, I have two toddlers who don’t always want to cooperate, so I know how it goes!

Make sure to plan something fun to do after your session like ice cream so that everyone has a fun reward to look forward to after!

Above all else, don’t stress! The best photos are joyful ones! So plan to show up, play on the beach and leave the rest to me! Even if things don’t go exactly as planned, one day you’ll look back and be so glad you took these photos!
