Part 2: The post-proposal glow is REAL 🥂✨

Once the initial shock wore off, Zachary & Ava got to soak in every single second of being officially engaged! The golden hour light hit the beach in the dreamiest way for their engagement photos. 💍

HUGE congratulations to these two - capturing this while surprise was an absolute dream and what I live for as a photographer.

The absolute best part of this job is watching your families grow 🥹🤍

The last time I had Daisy in front of my camera, we were taking her maternity photos - and now getting to capture her on the beach snuggling her sweet boy (plus their adorable fur baby!) was so special. ✨

Being your family's photographer through every chapter is truly an honor.

A surprise proposal session so good that it needs a two-part post! 🤍 ring on the beach, total shock, and pure magic. Welcome to part 1!

Getting to secretly coordinate with Zachary to capture that exact second Ava realized what was happening was such an honor. Look at those genuine smiles and joy! These two were SO sweet 🥹✨

The golden light at this state park couldn't have been more perfect for these two!

Stay tuned for part 2 to see the "JUST ENGAGED!" post-proposal glow - and if you're planning a proposal of your own, MESSAGE ME. to set up the ultimate session! 💍

You will NEVER regret photos, you'll only regret the ones you didn't take.

Why choose when you can have it all? 🌊✨
One of my favorite things about extended family sessions is that we cover EVERY combination!

During an extended family session, we make time for:
🤍 Full group family shots
🤍 Individual family unit breakdowns
🤍 Solo portraits of the kids
🤍 Sweet couple portraits for every pair (including grandparents!)

If you're taking a vacation to the Central Coast or having family come out to visit, booking an extended family session is the absolute best way to commemorate everyone being together!

Message me TODAY to grab your ideal date for when the family is all together. www.racheldphotos.com

It may be back-to-school season, but I know some of you are already thinking about graduation! 🎓✨

Seeing Savannah's Cal Poly session come together in this gorgeous golden light was such a dream. From wandering through the garden at Madonna Inn to that awesome champagne pop in the field, every image is pure joy! 🥂

It's not too early to get on my limited schedule for your graduation photos! (I believe some schools around here require them pretty early for the yearbook.) Message me TODAY for my availability! www.racheldphotos.com

The biggest compliment ever that brought tears to my eyes from the sweetest family 🥺✨

⭐️ "I chose Rachel because I’ve seen the photos she’s taken and have been following for awhile and love the moments you capture. I appreciated her quick response and clear email instructions and details.

Rachel made me feel absolutely amazing… honestly beyond words I anticipated cancelling the appointment since my husband was fresh out of surgery but we still did it and stage was incredibly helpful and that was weight off my shoulders so caring and nurturing.

She even offered to take my baby so I can help my husband and other baby walk the terrain of the beach.

I would highly recommend my friend to book the same session because everything about the photos is amazing and I’m so thankful that she captured the moment I’m so thankful that we followed through with appointment. I love the quality and the moment she captured." ⭐️

Beach days with amazing clients never get old! (Especially if I get to snuggle a baby haha!) 🌊

Making the most of a wedding weekend trip! 🕊️ This sweet couple traveled across the country from Virginia, and we made sure their trip to Santa Barbara came with some timeless California beach photos to bring home.
