I take a certain amount of reserved due dates per month, and since babies are born at unexpected times I don’t set specific dates until babies have arrived. Parents purchase a session on my website within their due date month while they are still pregnant and then let me know within a couple of days of baby’s arrival. Then we can set a date within the first two weeks that takes into consideration the other appointments baby will need, too! Scheduling is usually very easy if clients have booked during pregnancy •

When are my appointments? I work Monday through Friday during business hours, and I shoot most appointments weekday mornings with some shorter afternoon appointments occasionally. I only work weekends for summer family sessions or holiday minis. Some people imagine photography as solely a side hustle but this has been a full time job for me for the last decade and I work a regular full time business week.

Mary was the best photographer we have ever worked with. Not only does she help everyone relax because she is so funny and so much fun, but she is extremely talented and captures special, timeless moments in the most beautiful way through her artistry in photography. I call her the baby whisperer; she knows exactly how to calm down our baby and make him comfortable with every pose. She takes her time and makes the entire process enjoyable and stress free. Mini newborn sessions are for babies 1-4 weeks old, and they only take half an hour and the room isn't heated, because baby is wrapped up so warmly the whole time. A quick series of prop set ups allow you to have six portraits perfect for wall art in your home and if spots are available, you can purchase your session easily online any time at the link in my bio.

Book your session during pregnancy. The best time to photograph newborns is within the first two weeks of life and wow that time flies! That's why the majority of my newborn clients reserve their due dates with me 2+ months in advance. She still worked to calm him down and took great pictures even if it was not part of the original plan!
