Here's a little video at the beautiful Carrizo Plains outside of Paso Robles, CA last week This might not be considered a superbloom scientifically, but it sure was one through my eyes and camera lens! 😃🌼🪻💐 The crickets were happy, too 🦗

These flowers here are mostly Tickseed AKA Coreopsis.

As many may know, Seacliff State Beach received major storm damage yesterday. The pier was destroyed and the entire day-use area and campground were severely damaged, too.

I have a lifetime of memories of Seacliff from childhood thru adulthood, as well as working there for some time.

Here are some photos over the last few years. In my mind, this first photo kind of represents the retrospect of looking through the rearview mirror and looking at what's behind.

It's going to be hard, it's going to take time, but it will be something new to enjoy where we can make new memories eventually.

My thoughts are with all the people affected by the storms in our area. Aptos, Capitola and surrounding communities have sustained major damage to homes and businesses.

This helicopter tour in Alaska was awesome! ❤️

Thank you Outbound Heli Adventures in Palmer, Alaska for an amazing helicopter tour to the glaciers and beyond. A tour from Outbound is a MUST do for anyone visiting Alaska. Here's a clip of the landing after seeing the glaciers and views of Prince William Sound. Our pilot was obviously very skilled and she had such great knowledge of the areas we visited.

Words and pics cannot describe the experience, honestly. I'll post some more pics of the glaciers, too.

Definitely check them out if you go to Alaska. Only a half hour drive from Anchorage. ❤️🚁🏔️

This is one of my favorite photos that I ever shot. A reminder that there's so much more to life than our little day-to-day problems or even seemingly monumental problems.

The sunset earlier this week over the Santa Cruz Mountains was like nothing I've ever seen. It reminded me of an "aurora" kind of effect as rain was falling from the clouds and the light reflected through.

I traveled through many areas of New Mexico over the last year and a half and the Taos area is one (of many) of my favorite places in the state. This is at the Rio Grande Gorge outside of Taos.
