I'm doing something a little different to showcase not just my photography, but also showcasing my beautiful and amazing Samantha's original, hand-painted, Indigenous-chicana art. I've been with this amazing woman for close to 6 years, and in the past four years, I've witnessed Samantha go through her Dr Frankenstein mayhem of creating these amazing, beautiful and one of a kind hand-made art. Each piece is a story of mayhem, trauma, pain, sadness, but with a message of overcoming the challenges of self healing, strength and changes that once plagued her into a very dark place. Her triumph is created, curated and permanently displayed on these canvases by her hands, pain and endless hours of deprived sleep, stress, anxiety, anger, frustration and determination. These past four years have been a challenge, but I am proud to share with you all that one of my biggest flexes is experiencing someone I love with all my heart, literally proving to herself that there is no such thing as impossible, and showcasing her gorgeous art in one of the best art galleries in ABQ, NM known as Secret Gallery.
Plan a visit to Secret Gallery before the end of August to experience the rest of her amazing beautiful art. Each piece ( with the exception of the first image which is sold ) is ready for their new home and owner. This is a great time to get a unique and an original present for your loved ones for this upcoming holiday.
