It’s a true honor to have this story featured in such a meaningful place. Our hope is that this documentary captures even a fraction of the beauty, spirit, and resilience found in both the stunning landscapes and the wonderful people of Santa Cruz.

We’re beyond excited to share that our team has taken home a Telly Award for the work we did on the GolfForever “Person I Want to Become” campaign — and we couldn’t be more proud of the work that made it possible.

A huge thank you to everyone who played a role in bringing this project to life. From the creative minds behind the scenes to the on-set crew and editors, this was an all time crew!

We spent the weekend on the pond shooting with the very talented and patient Aysha. On day two of filming, Aysha showed up at 6:30am to capture some sunrise drone shots. At 9:30am, she had to leave to go play a game in the tournament she and her team were in. At 12pm, she returned to finish the shoot day. As she laced her skates back up, we asked her if she scored a goal. She replied “Just two.”

Aysha was an absolute rockstar. Toughing through the cold mornings and longs days. We shared many laughs between takes about her stories beating boys in sports and the joy it brings her. Can’t wait to see what she achieve in hockey!

We had the pleasure of partnering with Scott Jones and his new company, Life In Audio, to create a series of videos featuring real people telling their stories. These are particularly great to be a part of because not only do we get to flex or creative muscles, but we get to meet some really great people along the way.

Off the Beaten Path

The Outside Collective is a group of individuals who met in Vail, Colorado, shooting video for corporate clients, local businesses, and luxury resorts—the usual stuff. But during early morning and late night treks up Colorado’s rocky mountains, we discovered a shared love of the outside and, together, inspired by the natural splendor around us, invented new ways of telling stories.

We found we weren’t alone in our “outside” way of thinking. So, we joined forces to do something bigger, something different. We ditched our 9-5 jobs and formed a collective, a place for fellow outsiders to create and live life on the outside: The Outside Collective.
