Isle of Man ... one of the most amazing motorcycle races EVER! Goes live this year!

The 2022 Isle of Man competition will run from Sunday, May 29th, through Friday, June 10th and many changes to the racing are coming.

The loss of another legend! Godspeed sir

Dick "Bugsy" Mann, an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer and Daytona 200 winner, died April 26 at the age of 87.

A YEAR! It's been so long since being on a racetrack shooting motorsports! Okay, there were a couple things last year but that was it. We NEED racing this year!

This past weekend was just amazing! The 2021 CZ Nationals in Marysville! What a great event! With the shortened weekend Saturday was just non stop racing and it couldn't have gone any better! So many thank you's to the committee that work so hard to get this event ready! And so many thank you's to the riders that work so hard to get some INCREDIBLE bikes ready! Most of these things belong in a museum! But thanks to you guys for not putting them in a museum, instead you bring them out and run the p**s out of them! Thank you all so much for keeping this amazing sport alive!

I shot just over 2000 photos this weekend and it takes time to process all those, but they are coming soon. I'll keep you posted when they are done and uploaded to the website. You can always check out 2016 and 2017 photos at http://www.woracingphotos.com

DANG IT! I'm away from Facebook for one day and I miss my main man's birthday Franco Rippa ... aka El Diablo. One of the nicest guys in motocross history! Franco always treats me as if we were long lost friends at the track. For that I thank you my friend. The last photo isn't you ... but one I think you will appreciate. Happy late birthday bud!

Well well well ... just when you think you know a guy! I shot Winthrope Hiers at the Don Matthew CZ World Championship races in 2016, and maybe again in 2017. If he changed bikes? Anyhow, besides being a super nice guy and great motocross rider ... I find out he's an AMAZING landscape photographer! WTH! I was glued on his website looking at his amazing images! Especially the panoramas which I particularly love to shoot.

Trevor Calderwood! Super nice guy but the gloves come off when the gate drops. The current holder of the Trans Am 500 CZ Championship in California. I missed seeing him race in 2019 when he took the title, but I hope to photograph him defending the title later this year!

Today's post is about my Facebook friend Joe Abbate. Sad to say I haven't met him in person yet but really looking forward to it. The closest I got (I believe) was at the 2016 Don Matthews CZ World Championship races in Marysville, CA. The more I read about him the more I want to meet him! What a story.
