Upper Truckee Marsh, South Lake Tahoe, Ca.

I was watching this osprey flying around the marsh when it dove down and caught the catfish about a hundred yards away and started to fly away from me and I lost sight of it then all of a sudden it appeared behind a bush and popped up briefly just enough to get this shot before it flew behind the bushes again.

This photo of the Sydney Opera House in the harbor in Sydney, Australia. Our hotel was a 5 minute walk to the harbor so I was able to take this at 8am with no people around. My camera settings were ISO100, 40mm, f/5.0 at 13sec. The opera house was designed by a Danish architect in 1957 but wasn't built until 1973. And in 2007 it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
