Locations that love takes me.

As a California wedding photographer, I specialize in capturing beautiful, timeless images across four main regions.
-I serve the Bay Area, from San Francisco and Napa Valley to Livermore and the East Bay, offering iconic city landmarks to spanning vineyards.
-In Southern California; Orange county, Santa Barbara and the beaches of San Diego have my heart.
-For couples seeking breathtaking views, I serve mountain and resort destinations including Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, and all over the Sierra Nevadas.

Wherever your wedding takes place, I focus on bringing joyful, soft and romantic images that tell your story against California’s most beautiful backdrops.

There are a few things I would never force on a couple, because your comfort and authenticity always come first.

1. Posing That Feels Unnatural: I guide you with gentle prompts, but I never make you do anything that feels stiff or forced. The best images come from real connection, laughter, and movement that reflects who you truly are.

2. Overly Trendy Styling Choices: I love helping with wardrobe, color choices, and locations, but I don’t push trends or ideas that don’t fit your personality. Your wedding and engagement photos should feel timeless, not tied to a fleeting style or inauthentic trend.

3. Rushed or Stressful Moments: Every couple deserves to enjoy their session or wedding day. I’ll never push you through photos just to “check a box”.
The best images happen when there’s space to breathe and connect.

From my perspective as a California wedding photographer, one of the most important elements of a truly elevated wedding day is a seamless, well-thought-out timeline. My couples often understand that the flow of the day directly impacts how relaxed and meaningful the experience feels. When a timeline is thoughtfully planned, it allows the day to unfold naturally. This helps eliminate the pressure of constantly rushing from one moment to the next.

I typically work closely with planners and my couples ahead of the wedding to build a schedule that supports both the logistics and the experience of the day. That means allowing enough time for getting ready, intentional space for portraits, and breathing room between major moments. Those small pockets of time make a big difference; giving couples the chance to be present with each other, enjoy their guests, and truly soak in the celebration.

You cannot afford to NOT hire the right vendor team.

From my experience photographing weddings, one thing that truly sets high end celebrations apart is the strength of the vendor team behind the scenes. Couples that choose to be very intentional about the professionals they bring together because they understand that an exceptional team is what allows the day to unfold seamlessly. It’s not just about hiring talented individuals, but it’s about creating a group of experienced vendors who communicate well, respect one another’s roles, and work collaboratively to bring the couple’s vision to life.

From a photography perspective, this kind of collaboration makes a meaningful difference. When vendors trust one another and communicate throughout the day, it creates space for the most beautiful moments to unfold naturally; whether that’s giving a bride a quiet minute before walking down the aisle or ensuring the reception room is perfectly styled before guests enter. The best weddings are almost always the result of a thoughtful, professional team working together behind the scenes.

After photographing many weddings, one thing I’ve consistently seen with couples is how much they care about the overall guest experience. For them, the wedding isn’t just about the ceremony or reception, it’s about hosting the people they love well. Many of my couples know their guests are traveling, taking time off work, and making an effort to be there, so they want the entire experience to feel thoughtful, welcoming, and memorable.

I often see this reflected in the intentional details throughout the weekend. Beautifully curated welcome events, seamless transportation, incredible dining experiences, and meaningful personal touches all help create an atmosphere where guests can truly relax and enjoy themselves. When those elements are thoughtfully planned, the energy of the entire celebration shifts, people feel cared for, present, and excited to be part of the moment!

From a photographer’s perspective, this also makes a huge difference in the images. When guests feel comfortable and the day flows smoothly, the moments unfold naturally. The laughter, the connection, the full dance floors and heartfelt conversations; those are the things that truly bring a wedding gallery to life.

Planning a mountain engagement session can be magical, but it requires a little extra preparation to make sure everything goes smoothly and the photos turn out beautifully. Here are some key things to keep in mind:

Timing & Light: Mountains can cast long shadows, so plan your session for early morning or late afternoon to take advantage of soft, golden light. Sunrise or sunset also adds a warm, romantic glow to your images.

Weather & Season: Mountain weather can change quickly, even in summer. Check forecasts in advance and have a backup plan.

Location & Accessibility: Choose a spot that aligns with your vision but is also manageable for hiking or walking in formal shoes or a long dress. Some trails may require permits, so research in advance.

Wardrobe & Comfort: Dress for both style and practicality. Comfortable shoes for hiking, layers for warmth, and clothing that complements the natural landscape will make a big difference in both comfort and aesthetics.

When choosing a wedding photographer, there are three key things couples should focus on.

Style & Aesthetic: Make sure the photographer’s portfolio reflects the look and feel you love. Whether it’s bright and timeless, moody and dramatic, or candid and documentary. Your wedding photos should feel like you, not just a generic style!

Experience & Expertise: A photographer with wedding experience knows how to navigate timelines, lighting challenges, and unpredictable moments. They can capture both the big milestones and the subtle, emotional details seamlessly.

Connection & Comfort: You’ll spend an entire day with your photographer, so it’s essential to feel comfortable and understood. A great connection ensures you can be yourselves, resulting in authentic, relaxed images that truly reflect your relationship.

The three main questions I get regarding engagement sessions!

One of the most common questions I hear from brides is how to look natural on camera. My approach is all about creating a relaxed, fun environment, through gentle guidance, playful prompts, and real interaction, so your personality shines through in every image.
Couples also often ask about when they will get their images back. I make sure to deliver your edited photos in a timely manner, so you can enjoy and share them soon after your session! Typically about two weeks, with sneak peeks in the first 48 hours.
And lastly, "Where should we do our photos??". As for location, I love helping couples choose spots that feel meaningful, beautiful, and photogenic.
That could be a sentimental location to my couple, city feels, very rustic and natural land, beach, mountains or rolling hills. Each location provides a different feel for the session.

I love senior sessions because they’re a chance to capture all the excitement, individuality, and personality that makes this moment so special. Every senior has their own style, energy, and story, and I love helping them express that in images that feel authentic and timeless!

To make seniors feel comfortable and confident, I focus on creating a relaxed, fun environment. I guide them with gentle prompts and playful movement, rather than stiff posing, so their personality shines through.

I also encourage them to bring elements that reflect who they are: hobbies, favorite outfits, or personal accessories, which makes the images feel uniquely theirs. The goal is always to capture natural, effortless moments that feel genuine.
