Proposal photography looks spontaneous, but most of it comes down to planning ahead of time.
I walk my clients through everything:
Where to park.
Where to stand.
What time the light will be best.
Which locations will be crowded.
How long to stay kneeling.
What to do afterward.
The biggest mistake people make when planning a proposal is focusing only on the location and not thinking enough about timing and light.
Beautiful sunlight matters more than almost anything else.
A gorgeous location packed with tourists at noon is usually going to photograph worse than a quieter spot with incredible evening light.
And yes… I usually stay hidden in plain sight with my farmers market basket nearby pretending to casually enjoy the beach until it’s go time.
The goal is for you to feel relaxed enough to actually be present during one of the biggest moments of your life instead of stressing over logistics.
I take care of all of that for you.
