Jennifer McNeil Photography Award winning newborn photographer based in Orange County, CA. Capture life's most beautiful moments. Hi! I’m Jenn and I absolutely love creating art!

I focus on newborns, maternity and family portraits. To ensure you get the most out of any type of session, it is important to contact me early to allow for the pre-session consultation. I will make sure you know what to expect and will be able to show you some of my amazing products. This time is also a chance for you to tell me your ideas for the session which will only enhance your final product. If you have not come up with a direction you would like the session to take, that is great too - I am happy to suggest ideas and we will talk about the best time of day, location, and clothing, for your session. Once you are in front of the camera, relax and allow me to create those moments. After our session I will present you with a gallery of 20-30 images during an in person review session and you will follow my fun step by step guide to create a package that is perfect for you.

I haven’t posted much lately.

The past year shifted me in ways I didn’t expect... both personally and professionally. I found myself slowing down, rethinking what I want this business to feel like, and remembering why I started photographing newborns in the first place.

I love babies. I love soothing them. I love watching parents soften when they see their child held gently and safely.

I also believe deeply that newborn photos are about more than the baby... they’re about the family becoming something new.

Recently, I became accredited in family and baby portraiture because I truly believe parents and siblings belong in these images. It’s not just about documenting a newborn... it’s about documenting connection.

I also love my own family deeply... and I’ve realized I can hold space for both by being more intentional.

Moving forward, I’m offering one full newborn invitation per month. Calm, unhurried, artwork-centered sessions designed to be lived with for years.

If that feels aligned, I’m here. 🤍

Been spending some much needed one on one time with my little people lately. Tonight my daughter wanted to be close to me while she read before bed. I love these moments. 💜

Been a little busy this holiday season making the magic happen for my littles. This time of year it really hits me how much hard work my mother put in when we were children. I wish I could thank her now and I hope she knows I appreciated it all.

This year has been particularly stressful - I oops took on more than I could actually handle without stress. But it all turned out fine even with a nail in my tire on our Christmas road trip.

Glad to be able to have this time with family and enjoy the season - both the holiday and the season of life I'm in.

Happy belated holidays to all!

It’s been a minute, but I’m back with all the baby sweetness your feed has been missing! ✨ From tiny toes to sleepy smiles, I’ve had the honor of photographing so many beautiful new beginnings. Can’t wait to share more of the magic with you. 💕

Family Halloween costumes for the last decade. Such a fun tradition and I'm happy that my dear daughter obliged even though she fell in love with Rumi after we set our costumes this year 🥰

There is nothing more fleeting — or more powerful — than those first days of life. ✨
The tiny eyelashes, the curled fists, the peaceful breaths… this season passes in a blink, but the memories last forever.

When parents bring me their brand new baby, I know they are trusting me with their whole world — and I don’t take that lightly. Every session is built around safety first: baby-led posing, constant monitoring for comfort, and an environment designed to keep them warm, supported, and secure in every moment.

Because beautiful portraits matter…
but your baby’s well-being matters most. 🤍
