Penelope was one of my very favorite newborn sessions, so I was thrilled to have her come back for a cake smash! Her family wanted elephants involved, as they have a significant meaning to them, and being that we are close to Valentine's day, we celebrated with red and heart balloons. Just look at this sweet face! Her brother got in on the cake action as well, showing Penelope just how to eat that cake. 😜 Happy 1st birthday, sweet girl!

Did you know that I can customize your newborn session for whatever colors you love? I have a little of everything in my studio! This sweet baby's family wanted a variety of color, which allowed me to use some of my rarely chosen colors...mustard yellow, blue (for a girl!) and a gorgeous red. Of course we did some pinks and purples as well. Then the family photos had a glorious vibrant green which looked amazing on this baby's skin tone. What colors would you choose for your baby's newborn photos?

I love to see the progression of a beautiful couple as they become parents. How cute are these two? They came to see me for maternity photos and then again for a newborn session. And they happen to have the most beautiful baby boy! Baby Sam was the first of my Christmas baby setups...scroll to the end to see him as a cute snowman.

Welcome, sweet baby Dalton, with the best cheeks and hair! Big sister Taylor didn't want much to do with sibling photos, but we did manage this adorable smile from her in the family photos. Happy birthday, Jordyn! That same sweet little baby that was in my favorite fall setup from last year's newborn session is now ONE. She is my cute friend's granddaughter, so I get to see this baby grow up! We had a great time at her cake smash watching her tip over her cake stand and then play with her cake. A custom balloon garland in purples was perfect for her!

I have been photographing lots of preemies and smaller 5-6 pound babies...and then Winnie arrived! This gorgeous baby was born weighing in at 9 lb 11 oz, and she was an absolute dream during her session! She slept like a rock and was so squishy and cute. My favorite was her amazing cheeks and her wispy hair.
