I had the privilege of capturing last week’s .indy walk in Carmel. These are weekly walks where local women gather, make new friends, and get some steps in! What could be better?! 👟

Most women think they need to “find confidence” before stepping in front of a camera.

But honestly, confidence isn’t something you just magically “find” someday. It comes in pieces, through practice, showing up, and seeing other women around you doing the same thing.

That’s why group sessions are so effective. Being in a room with women who are all figuring it out, laughing, experimenting, and supporting each other makes it easier to relax into yourself.

You start moving more naturally, your smile shows up without thinking, and suddenly confidence feels built right there in the moment.

This is why I love group sessions. Confidence doesn’t have to come first. Sometimes it shows up while you are busy connecting, laughing, and just being yourself.

If you’ve been thinking about brand photos but waiting for the perfect moment, now is the perfect time to join a Bloom Collective Session and see what it feels like to show up effortlessly!

There’s a different way to do brand photos. Being in a room with other business owners makes it feel effortless, energizing, and surprisingly easy to show up.

There’s laughter. Conversations are happening naturally. Women are helping each other in little ways you didn’t even realize you needed.

Being on camera stops feeling scary and starts feeling…fun!

You leave with photos that you actually love, but more than that, you leave with energy, ideas, and connections you can’t get alone. Women who get what it’s like to run a business and are ready to cheer you on.

If you’ve been thinking about brand photos but haven’t taken the leap, this is the room to be in. There’s space for you here!

“You’re the face of your brand.”

Even though this phrase is true, can I be honest for a sec?
I feel like for a lot of women (including me), it carries so much pressure.

I see it all the time. The subtle tension, the quiet spiral of wondering if you’re polished enough, confident enough, or interesting enough to be visible, like being seen suddenly means you have to show up perfectly, all the time.

After years of photographing women and being in spaces where they’re building businesses and putting themselves out there, I’ve realized that so much of what we struggle with comes back to visibility.

It sits underneath confidence, fear, and growth.

Visibility isn’t just about being seen online, it’s about being witnessed as you are, before you feel ready, and trusting that who you are is enough.

That’s also why it can feel scary. Being visible means risking judgment and letting go of control.

But it also means that all you have to do is become recognizable so that your presence feels familiar over time. Someone might not remember a specific post, but they remember how you made them feel. They remember your warmth, your clarity, your presence. That’s the thread that builds trust and connection.

Let this be your gentle reminder that you don’t owe the internet a show, and you don’t have to be visible in a way that drains you.

Yes, you ARE the face of your brand, but you get to decide what being seen looks like in your life and business. And if you need help navigating how to do that, I’m here and would love to chat! 💕

2025 was a year that felt messy, unsteady, and full of change. There were moments of uncertainty, times when I wasn’t sure which way was forward, and yet underneath it all, I could feel things quietly shifting into place. Puzzle pieces were moving, even if I couldn’t see the full picture yet.

I usually don’t choose a word for the year, but this one found me, tapped me on the shoulder, and whispered its name: “Alignment”.

Alignment came not as a mantra, but as a promise and a guide, a North Star for this year. It’s a reminder of how to navigate what I can control and trust that the rest will fall into place.

It’s a filter through which I can measure choices, big and small, in my life, my work, and my family.

It reminds me to act in ways that reflect my core beliefs: honoring my health, being present with my children, creating more than I consume, trusting my instincts, and building a business that fits into my life instead of competing with it.

This year, I’m leaning into alignment. Paying attention. Making choices that feel true. And trusting the puzzle pieces will continue to fall into place. 🧩⭐️

What’s your word of the year? I’d love to hear what’s guiding you in 2026! ⬇️

There’s something about the start of a new year that feels like a quiet reset. A moment to catch your breath and ask yourself: what do I want to create next?

This is the time for curiosity, for courage, for noticing the small sparks of possibility that have been waiting.

Who feels that spark this year? What are you ready to create in 2026?

Christmas is coming up fast, and I’m already feeling that mix of cozy anticipation and end-of-year reflection.

If this season is sweet for you, I hope you soak in every bit of it.

If it’s a little chaotic (or a lot), I hope you find pockets of calm.

And if you’re somewhere in between, welcome to the club! 🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m so grateful you’re here.
And with a lot of new things coming in 2026, I can’t wait to share what’s next!

Wishing you a warm, joy-filled week leading up to Christmas. 🎄✨

Product-based businesses listen up! Clean product photos have their place. I use them too.

But they are rarely what makes someone stop, linger, or feel something.

Most people don’t connect to a product floating on a white background. They connect to context. To seeing it used, held, lived with. To the environment it belongs in and the hands that bring it to life.

When I photograph product-based businesses, I’m thinking about more than the product itself. I’m paying attention to texture, light, movement, and the story surrounding it. Where it lives. How it’s used. What it feels like to interact with it in real life.

Because your product doesn’t exist in a vacuum. And your brand shouldn’t either.

If you sell something tangible, this is your reminder that the story around your product is just as important as the product itself.

There is something deeply meaningful about being trusted by someone who understands branding as deeply as you do.

When Mary reached out, she knew exactly what she was looking for. As a career and personal branding coach, she understands how powerful it is to be seen clearly. Still, trusting someone else with the visual side of your brand is a big step, and one I never take lightly.

Mary joined one of my Creative Collective sessions, which are group brand experiences designed to be fun, supportive, and collaborative. Women come together alongside each other to create brand images in an environment that feels encouraging instead of intimidating. It’s about connection just as much as it is about photos.

During the session, we captured a wide range of images Mary can use across her website, social media, and speaker materials for her business:

Watching her show up with confidence and ease, surrounded by other women building meaningful work, was a reminder of why this format matters. Brand photography is not just about having photos to use. It is about creating visuals that support the work you are proud of and the message you are here to share.

I am deeply honored when someone who helps others define their personal brand trusts me to tell their story visually. Thank you, Mary, for letting me be part of yours! 💕

If you have been thinking about how your brand looks and feels out in the world, this is your sign to start that conversation. Reach out - I’d love to chat!
