💙Blueberry Life under a blue hour sky🌌
-
Revisiting a shot from a trip I took last year up to the Sods with , almost a year later I came back around and edited this one again and I think I like it better this time. Art is subjective though, so who knows😅 I got to spend the last day and a half down at my friend .zrousey 's house this weekend, it was a great time, but it was due to sad circumstances. Zane's grandmother, Betty had passed away. Now I never personally met Betty, but Betty knew I was one of Zane's friends, and by default, she loved me. Betty would comment on my photos, every one of them, she'd always compliment my photos and my work, and she always had a kind word to say to me. It almost felt like she was my grandmother too, and it reminded me of how much she reminded me of both of my grandmothers. Betty was filled with love, and the past day and a half I have got to witness and partake in some of the most positive and loving moments that I have felt all too familiar before. People coming together for someone who made a positive impact on many peoples lives', locally, and abroad. When I lost my mom in 2018, I can remember the intense sadness, anger, and guilt I had and was trying to process on why the world took away my mom. I didn't know what to do, but I know in those days after her passing that a whole community offered their support and love. I hope that everyone has been able to feel such a special feeling during times of heartache and sorrow. But to have people in my life now that were like Betty is to truly be blessed. I'm surrounded by a great family, my grandmother Judy, and so many other people that don't know what a positive impact they have on my life. No matter how small an act of kindness may be, do it. Be a light to others, care for people, and always stand up for whats right. I just wanted to hop on here and share a photo thats important to me, and a story that I think is worth sharing. Betty was laid to rest today surrounded by her loved ones and commemorated by a beautiful service. We had great weather and everything went as smooth as possible. I'd like to think that that is her, still impacting us today😊
