Okay but can we talk about the fact that this dreamy beach light was in the MORNING?! 🤯☀️

The Ringholz family made an early beach session look like golden hour, complete with sandy toes, baby snuggles, toddler exploring, lots of laughs, and two little girls who very clearly stole the show. 🤍

Consider this our official reminder that sunset does not have a monopoly on beautiful family photos. Morning sessions, we see you. 👀☀️

When you’ve been dreaming about your senior photo locations for YEARS… and then they somehow turn out even dreamier than you pictured. 🥹✨

Senior spokesmodel Maddy Holeman knew exactly what she wanted for her session: overgrown fields, an old barn, big beautiful trees and that Lake Erie glow to finish it all off. And WOW did the evening deliver. 🤍

There’s something extra special about finally getting to create the photos you’ve been imagining long before senior year ever arrived. Maddy, we’d say these were worth the wait. 🌾🌊✨

🏈🐾 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞! 🐾🏈

Football season is officially underway, and this month’s adoptable dogs from the Humane Society of Erie County Ohio are ready to find the ultimate home-field advantage: a family of their own. ❤️

🏈 𝐃𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐧 is a 6-month-old, 45 lb Shepherd/Husky mix with a serious set of eyes and the brains to back them up. He’s smart, catches on quickly, loves to learn, and has plenty of puppy energy. Put this boy with an active family and we think you’ve got yourself a first-round draft pick. 😉

🏈 𝐊𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢 is a 1½-year-old, 43 lb Blue Heeler mix who came ready to PLAY. He’s active, curious, eager to learn, and loves exploring everything around him. He’s just waiting for a family to join his team and take him along for the adventure. And yes, he absolutely nailed the football catch for his photos. 😂

And while we have your attention, Yappy Hour has been flagged for a date change this month! 🚩🐶 Because of Labor Day, September’s Yappy Hour is moving to the SECOND Monday of the month:

Friday night lights just hit a little different when it’s YOUR senior year. 🏈❤️

Senior Spokesmodel Nathan Porterfield traded his usual senior-session look for the letterman jacket, #33 and a little home-field advantage. And with high school football officially back in full swing, tonight felt like the perfect night to share these.

Here’s to the Friday nights you wait all week for, the teammates who become family, and one last season under those lights. 🏟️

ROUND TWO. 💪🔥

Last year, the Strongman Champions League made its U.S. debut right here in Shores & Islands Ohio, and we had a front-row seat with our cameras in hand. From pulling fire trucks and airplanes to tossing kegs and lifting some truly ridiculous amounts of weight, this was easily one of the wildest events we photographed all year.

And now, they’re BACK. 🙌

The Strongman Champions League returns for its second year in the United States this Labor Day weekend, and we’re so excited to be back capturing all the action.

📍 Sunday, September 6 | Downtown Sandusky | 1 PM

Both days are FREE to attend, so come see what happens when some of the strongest men in the world take over our little corner of Ohio.

And just like that, every one of our Senior Spokesmodels has officially stepped in front of the camera for their individual session. 🥹🤍

Memphis was our last spokesmodel who still needed to start his senior session, so last night we headed out to the Castalia Quarry and Margaretta baseball fields to make it happen. Glowy light, late-summer greens, baseball and one pretty perfect evening to close out this chapter of summer. ☀️⚾️

Now, are we DONE with our spokesmodels? Not even close. 😂 Memphis still has more photos ahead, a few others have sessions to finish, and our whole crew has plenty more fun coming as we head into fall.

But there’s something pretty special about knowing we’ve officially photographed every single member of this year’s team.

Summer gave us some GOOD ones. Now let’s see what fall has up its sleeve. 🍂

Ohhh, there is something extra sweet about photographing a family right after it grows by one. 🤍

The Rietsma family came into the studio with their newest little love, and big sister was clearly ready for her moment too. 🥹 Between the tiny newborn snuggles, that little bow-topped smile, and figuring out life as a family of four, this is such a sweet season to have frozen in photos.
