-I’ll come by on your second or third morning in the hospital (once baby has had their first bath and you’ve had a little time to rest and freshen up)

-We’ll spend about an hour together capturing your sweet baby, tiny details, and those first precious family moments

So thankful for the sweetest clients! Erica + Matthew were such a joy to photograph ✨ It’s always a little nerve racking meeting new people, but when they’re as warm and kind as these two, it makes sessions so easy! We chatted about their love story, got our feet sandy, and took the most beautiful photos just in time for baby’s arrival this week! 🥰✨

Playing during family sessions is so crucial to getting sweet photos 🥹- we let Elaina lead for these and she had so much fun picking flowers, blowing dandelions, running to mom and dad for hugs, getting cheek kisses, exploring with her bunny, and twirling and spinning ✨ - and what a beautiful thing a family shoot can be… it’s not just photos, but an hour where you get to have your family all together outside without the phones, tablets, or tvs. Time to slow down and play and touch and hug and laugh … and even smell the flowers 🥰🫶🏻✨🌼

It’s always fun to give yourself a little challenge & for me that includes shooting when the sun is super high in the sky (a nightmare to a golden hour photographer 😅) and trying out a new technique! I put panty hose over my lens to get this softer/hazy look and I really like how it came out!✨🤎 what do you think?

😅Hi there, I’m Ashley, welcome to my photography page! 🫶🏻 I thought it was a good time to reintroduce myself ….and say that I like being behind the camera 100x better than I like being in front of it 🫣😅

I love capturing couples in love, fun family moments, mamas-to-be , & newborn snuggles. I prefer using natural light and golden hour to give my photos a warm look ✨

🌸In my free time (lol what’s that/ I’m a mom🤪) I love reading romantasy books, watching studio ghibli movies, hanging out with my chickens, thrifting for cottage core/grandma core goodies, and drinking lots and lots of iced coffee! — In 2023, I quit my career as a dental assistant to become a SAHM and homeschool my two children. Photography has been such a creative outlet for me while also helping me provide for my family which is why I am SO thankful when you chose me to capture your special moments 🥰 📷✨ (ps: these photos are only for the internet- there’s a 99% chance I’m showing up to your photo shoot in leggings and a messy bun- im just a girl😌💅🏻)
