We had a very good show a couple weekends ago, really a pretty good few shows this summer. Dually has really blossomed into his new role as a Ranch show horse, as well as all his other roles. We walked away with highpoint at this show and the circuit belt buckle! It is the first buckle he’s earned and a very pretty one to boot.
Dually is such a special guy, I’m so proud of the horses he’s turned into. I’ve thrown a lot of different stuff at him this last year and he just keeps rising to the occasion.
He works for a living guiding trail rides at the ranch and then is asked to show or go to clinics on the weekends. I honestly could go on and on about how wonderful I think he is but, I’ll spare you all of that.
A big thank you is deserved to my Isaac for being my biggest supporter and encouraging me to put my horse wants into play this summer. Also Dan Grimmett thank you for being my eyes on the ground, encouraging and answering all my horsemanship questions and philosophy. Greg D Robinson thank you for all your knowledge and teaching.
It really was a great summer of learning and expanding my horsemanship.
