Brand photography is what I do. But being a mom… that’s who I am.

And building a business alongside motherhood has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life.

I get to be present for the little moments, while also creating something that’s fully my own.

I get to show my daughter what it looks like to build something with intention… to follow through on ideas… and to create a life that feels aligned, not rushed.

It’s not always perfectly balanced but there’s beauty in the blend of it all.

Natalie and I connected over Instagram 2 years ago and this is our THIRD time working together. What started out as a creative partnership, has turned into a true friendship.

Her brand lives at the intersection of books, coffee, real estate, and life with her dog. Getting to put all of this together into a brand photoshoot for her was so fun!

She expressed that she needed new photos specifically for the use on social media and a few website updates. So we compiled some inspiration photos, created a prop list and got to work.

Getting to capture Brittany, the brilliant mind behind , was such a joy. She came to me needing fresh content for social media and new visuals to replace the stock imagery on her website.

Together, we created a brand shoot with headshots, on-brand stock photos, and in-action shots, plus a little added b-roll to truly bring her business to life.

We worked intentionally with her brand colors so the images feel seamless and cohesive, blending naturally with her existing brand rather than competing with it.

We also incorporated sayings she uses within her business into the background of a few images, adding a personal and meaningful touch throughout the shoot.
Every photo and clip was designed to showcase Brittany’s mix of professionalism and personality and to elevate the experience she provides her clients.

Props can be so powerful in brand photography. They help bring your story to life and make it easier to show what your brand is all about. Without them, it can be hard to tell your story in an image.

Props can be as simple as using your brand colors or as personal as printed materials with sayings or phrases that you use in your business.

Every detail counts when it comes to telling your story, and props are one of the easiest ways to make your brand come alive in photos.

Last week I had the amazing opportunity to be a vendor at the Audacious Women’s Summit and it was an amazing experience!

Being that I’m an introvert, doing events like this can really push me to my limits, but I am SO glad that I was in the room with so many encouraging and positive women.

We talked, we laughed, we connected, I gave out cookies and gave away a photoshoot!

And out of all of the conversations that I had, there was one thing that everyone kept coming back to. Can you guess what it was?

My branding. All of my branding was CONSISTENT from the cookies to my pricing guides to flyers to my website and emails. My brand pictures were consistent on all of my marketing and I included them everywhere I could.

Because having consistent, professional, up to date photographs helped to align me as a professional and begin to establish that know, like and trust relationship.

I know I say that your brand photos are SO IMPORTANT in your marketing, but I really do mean it. Investing in your brand and your brands image can make a difference when you’re trying to stand out.
