I realized a few things on my trip in Wyoming and thought I would share some of them with you guys. ⠀

1. I never thought I would say this but, I miss grass. The way it looks and smells, especially after it rains 😍 so of course I had and roll around in it during our shoot. ⠀
⠀
2. A lot of my business relies on social media but it’s okay to take a break from it. Actually, I encourage it... To slow down and live more in the moment and be present with family and friends. ⠀
⠀
3. Love should be an adventure. ⠀
Loving someone deeply is worth celebrating everyday. I don’t think the adventure always has to be grand, like rolling around on the mountain side, but I do think when we can take our simple, day-to-day lives and live them more passionately with our partner
then we will always find ourselves on an adventure. @ Wyoming

I have so many fond memories of Easter- wearing pretty dresses made by my grandma, egg hunting with my sister and cousins, church as a family, and just spending quality time together.⠀

Easter has always been a significant church service for me. There is something so powerful about standing in a room packed full with people celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, a 2000 year old miracle. ⠀

What’s your “why,” aka your purpose that drives you? ⠀
⠀
Do you feel like you’re just going through the motions of life wondering, “is this it?”⠀
⠀
I’m getting a little vulnerable here but personally, I always thought that the next THING in my life would make me happy.⠀
⠀
When I graduate college, THEN I will be happy. When I get that job THEN I will be happy. When I get engaged THEN I will be happy. ⠀
⠀
Do you see the problem? I was always looking for external things to fix internal problems. It wasn’t until I clearly defined my “why,” my purpose, that I finally started to feel content. ⠀
⠀
I have spent so much of my last few years on the verge of anxiety attacks and feeling unsettled and constantly looking for a quick fix to my problems. ⠀
⠀
So if you’re in a similar situation and are wondering “is this it?” I’m here to tell you that it’s not. There’s more. More for you, more for your relationships, more to this life.⠀
⠀
Start by defining your “why.” Too many of us define our lives by what we do for a living rather than accepting what we do for a living as just a part of an overall purpose that guides our lives.⠀
⠀
Our why is what guides us on our journey to our destination. So if we can understand what our why is (and what it definitely isn’t), we can focus on the big picture rather than going through the motions of life,
