Ron Harvey Photography Art conceptualized through a lens... I enjoy the beauty of capturing images of people, places, and dogs. CARPE DIEM,

-Ron

Ever since my first photography class in college, I've been captivated by the most simple sound of a shutter...an even though the likes of the classic film camera is being replaced by digital ( old school film still lives...and is still beautiful), I'll forever be in relationship with my 35mm SLR as if it were my first. These images are timeless to me, and hopefully to you as the viewer. My goal i

s to continue to capture and explorer the beauty and prospective of ones' vision through the eye of a lens....

Contribution - I believe that everyone should have lasting memories through beautiful pictures. Therefore, if you are a student that can't afford prom or school pictures, if you are a family that can't afford the expense of hiring a professional photographer, contact me and let's create that lasting memory for you for free.

As I was drinking a pretty decent Bordeaux …by the luck of the busy thumb on the remote... I happened to run upon a favorite movie “Sideways”. I loved the passionate description about wine from the character "Maya" in this 2004 movie charm. It caught my attention and made me go...hummmm
Screenplay – Sideways

Maya --
“I like to think about what was going on the year the grapes were growing. How the sun was shining that summer or if it rained. What the weather was like. I think about all those people who tended and picked the grapes, and if it's an old wine, how many of them must be dead by now. I love how wine continues to evolve, how every time I open a bottle it's going to taste different than if I had opened it on any other day. Because a bottle of wine is actually alive -- it's constantly evolving and gaining complexity. That is until it peaks -- like your '61 -- and begins its steady, inevitable decline. And it tastes so f--king good.”
