Just sitting in my car, scanning through the images I just took, and thinking about mothers and their sons. I just squeezed in a session for a beautiful family whose son is leaving for college in the morning. While I’m sure he is excited for this next chapter, there is no doubt in my mind after spending the last couple of hours with them that he will be missing home, his siblings, and his parents -but especially his mom. With two sons of my own (one with just two more hears of high school!), I feel the weight of the job I took on- the importance of the pictures I just made for Kimberly and her son. There is a special bond between a mother and her son. She and her son are very close and love each other deeply. The images I created will be physical reminders of a season that has come to an end. The whole family is full of joy and pride and they should be! What an accomplishment!! So I am beyond thrilled to create some beautiful images for them to remember this special time by.
Hug your family and tell them you love them. Live life to the fullest. And for goodness sakes, take pictures! ✨❤️📷✨
