Without Knowing
-
On 12.30 I took a trip up Mt. Tam.
Last minute, I thought it would be a nice sunset with a cloud formations. I almost didn’t go because I had planned to shoot New Year’s Eve.
-
Fast forward, I’m glad I went. The storm rolled in, and turns out this was the last set of the year…
-
It may be a mild “sign” or “interpretation”, but one exists, nonetheless. Often, we can wait for something that may never come.
Not knowing there’d be no NYE sunset, I was able to be present for what became the last one of 2025, & just enjoy its beauty. Later, zero regrets. Not a single thought of what I should have done. I allowed myself the moment.
-
As 2026 begins, I will continue practicing the notion that when an opportunity comes, take it.
Or even make it happen if it’s really why you want. Or? Become good with the real possibility the ship may sail along with the chance.
-
I don’t believe in right & wrong answers.
Only positive outcomes or lessons learned.
Something tells me the chapter labeled 2026 has some things in store for me.
And I’m so intrigued…
HNY, friends.
