Happy Mother’s Day to our family rock. The one who works the hardest, keeps the family in tune, and makes sure the rhythm is good. Especially these last several weeks, I have depended on more then ever before. The amount of love and respect is insane. Thank you Janice for being the greatest mom.

We have lost another legend. Garrett was a true champion, not only as a soccer player, but as a husband and father. He loved his family, he loved being a DHills Toro. “G” was a great college coach who should still be inspiring players to reach new levels of greatness. I will miss our conversations about team results, and stats. He was so smart and his ability to remember sports stats was incredible. 2025 has proven to be tough. Big Joe Velazco, CJ, and now Garrett Estrin. There is one heck of a goalkeeping team in heaven.

I bid farewell to my best friend yesterday. However, the Velazco family are suffering an even deeper loss. Big Joe was a highly respected figure in the goalkeeping community, credited with establishing the IGA events as the largest and most prestigious on the west coast. His coaching legacy spans over two decades, during which he has nurtured some of the finest keepers in the sport. His absence will be deeply felt until we meet again.
