Guess what...it's FALL FAMILY PORTRAIT season! And I kicked off this year's season with one of the most FUN Sessions yet with Lisa and her two GORGEOUS Rocky Mountain Horses and her beautiful 15 year old pup! We did a couple different outfits and had to throw in the Christmas attire so she has some epic Christmas Card photos.

This is your reminder that "Family Portraits" can be anything you want, and there doesn't even need to be another "human" in the photo! I know it's only August, but trust me, you'll be happy if you book now...or at least get on the calendar.

Pro Tip to my "horsey clients"...get those photos when your horses still have their beautiful summer coats.

This weekend was all about making this special mama-to-be feel gorgeous during her Maternity Session!😍 She's a studio client, so I already feel like she's family. We originally had her Session scheduled for two weekends from now, but she's having a high risk pregnancy and we decided it was best not to wait - when my Sunday opened up, I let her know and we made this magic happen! Just looking at her glow hits me right in the feels! Can't wait for her little girl to be born!

Did a super fun little "Birthday Shoot" for these two beautiful people over the weekend. Chan brought his girlfriend up from LA for the weekend for her birthday and wanted to surprise her by having professional photographs taken during their wine tasting at DAOU Vineyards and then their sunset trail ride at Central Coast Trailrides.

These shoots are always so much fun - something different, something unique, and memories to last FOREVER! Also, I have to say...these two people are absolutely the kindest, sweetest and most genuine people EVER...I fell in love as soon as I met them! 🥰

Another gorgeous Pismo Beach Proposal, and another incredible couple who have officially started their journey toward marriage! These are always SO special to photograph...being there for the beginning of something this important is truly an honor.

Ben went ALL OUT with this proposal - hiring someone to set up a flower arch AND inviting about 30 family and friends who were all hiding in a cave on the beach and jumped out when she said "YES"! Then they all celebrated with champagne (or apple cider) to toast the newly engaged couple. Can't wait to see where life takes these beautiful people!

A little sneak peek of Saturday's incredible Thousand Hills Ranch wedding. Hannah and Chris are such a beautiful couple, and their wedding day was "perfectly them" from start to finish - from a few awesome photos with their fur babies (and the paw print left on Hannah's dress), to guests who filled the entire barn with love, tears and the kindest words.

A chance meeting at the dog beach definitely brought together two people who are truly "meant to be"! Congratulations to "The Burgers"!

Here it is, a sneak peek of Dakota and Pierce's amazing Madonna Inn Wedding! I have to mention - they came from Virginia AND several guests traveled all the way from Switzerland to be here! Talk about being surrounded by love!!! 😍

After working with these two amazing humans for two days prior to their wedding, I feel like I knew them pretty well, and yet they managed to surprise me with how freaking awesome their wedding was! They are self proclaimed "weirdos" (their words, not mine) - I would describe them as cool, unique, awesome, up for anything, and TOTALLY in love.

I was also completely unprepared for how much these two people would come to mean to me. Anyone who knows me knows that I will go to the ends of the earth to make my client's day as special as they are - whether that's using my sewing kit to sew a bride into her dress at the last minute (yes, that has happened) or stepping up and taking on some "planner duties", as happened at Dakota and Pierce's wedding. Whatever it takes, I'm there to do it...and to give the best photos possible OF it! And that's what I did for these two...and it was totally worth it!

Last week I got to spend 3 days with one of the coolest couples I've met in a LONG time. They traveled here from Virginia to get married at the Madonna Inn, but they hadn't really had an Engagement Session, so since they were going to be here we decided to go ALL OUT and to a pre-shoot at the Madonna Inn two days before their wedding AND a second mini pre-shoot on Avila Beach after their Rehearsal Dinner!

Their style - which them TOTALLY embody - can't really be described, but it's a little bit vintage, a little bit Victorian Vampire, a little bit Rockabilly with some Hipster thrown in as a topping (their description, not mine haha). So, we leaned into that and had the MOST fun, not only during these sessions, but also for their wedding (photos to come)!!!

Fourth of July weekend is always memorable, but THIS one I'll never forget. I had the pleasure of photographing Jacob and Araceli's amazing Proposal on Pismo Beach on July 3rd!

She said "YES"...of course! Jacob went all out with an entire "set up" done by the amazing Hillary from "The Coastal Reverie" (if you're looking for a proposal or elopement planner, she's your gal for sure!).

Congratulations, you two! I can't wait to see what the future holds for you both! 🥰

Just a little sneak peek of Caitlin and Ethan's incredible wedding at the Cypress Ridge Pavilion this weekend. 😍 These two humans are absolutely incredible, and they have a SUPER special place in my heart! I photographed their "elopement" on June 13th of last year, and I got to photograph their "official wedding" on June 13th of this year! There are no words to express how happy this makes this photographer's heart! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Wayson!
