I had just eaten one of the famous french dips at Hofbrau Der Albatross, I was STUFFED, didn't want to move, but on my way home I started to see the sky light up so I pulled over and sent the drone up.
It's that weird moment where the sun's already gone but the sky doesn't know it yet. The streetlamps along the Embarcadero blinking on one by one. The boats sitting still in the harbor. Morro Rock just doing what it's done for the last 20 million years.
I've lived on the Central Coast long enough that I forget to look up sometimes. Glad I did this time.
