I've been working professionally for 5 years. I fell in love with photography as I started documenting my kids in all their silly, messy, sad, raw moments. I just wanted to capture real memories to hold on to forever; time with them passes too quickly. I realized that most people want the same and as a mother, I, especially, know how to provide that for them. I carry the same approach into other genres of photography. Real, raw, emotional and full of life photography; that's what I strive for.

If I had a podcast, there’s 3 things I could talk about for hours.(inspired by real conversations with my best friend.)

1. Where are the strong women leading⁉️
I look around but I don’t hear them but I do hear a bunch of noise. Women who talk like TikTok Valley girls and regurgitate the same surface conversations are on big stages, podcasts and writing books. It’s so boring and un impressive to me. I miss the women who pi**ed people off with the hard truth and led with the kind of love that made you uncomfortable with your mediocrity and sin. It’s probably time to be what we don’t already have.

2. The women we most admire are always the freest. Free from fear of people think, free from conformity, they truly give zero f*cks. They just live free. You know exact who they are when you walk in a room. It’s why we all love Beth Dutton. Fictional, but Free AF.
•
3. I’m confident I have PTSD from being a single mom for 10 years. There’s so much surviving and hustling and worrying and anticipating the next wrecking ball to come down on any progress or goodness I’ve created. Now I find myself expecting the same even though my reality has changed. It’s hard to enjoy the present when the old ways of operating still linger. It’s exhausting. It kills joy. It’s not good for my kids. It’s not good for my marriage. It’s not good for me.
