Our first wedding back on the Central Coast since "officially" moving our business to SLO again was, quite literally, the epitome of the beautiful culture we love so dearly here. Blundstones, cows, magnums of wine, a dance party that began at 4:30 and never ended. It was perfect. Axie and Nick, we love you!

A day that felt like coming home for me, and one that epitomized Central Coast culture at its core. Axie and Nick have been together half their lives, and got married overlooking the ocean in Santa Barbara County.

Recent, maybe controversial, thoughts:
I want to create photos that will probably never see the light of day in a (potentially soulless) wedding publication, but absolutely will capture the full expression of humanity present on a wedding day

Shelby & Drew’s is a gallery I keep coming back to because, to me, it feels so ALIVE. No performance necessary. What a beautiful thing it is to work with couples who haven’t lost the plot!
