Waves of Impact 2022 was the first time I met Lila. That year, no matter what—even with encouraging words from her surf instructor, Ryan—she was not getting on that surfboard. 💙💙💙

Fast-forward to 2026, and Lila’s confidence on the board continues to amaze me. Her journey is a beautiful reminder of how courage can grow over time. Every year, I will never get tired of sharing her incredible story.
