Renewing your vows isn't only a great excuse to celebrate your wedding anniversary, it also gives you the opportunity to have a more intimate ceremony that commemorates your relationship from when you first tied the knot to many years after.

So when my dear friend, and her husband, asked if I could photograph their vow renewal, I was deeply honored. In the Philippines, it’s common to have big weddings of over 250 guests. But for their vow renewal, April and Chris wanted the experience to be more personal by only inviting 10 of their closest family and friends.

Thankful to these two for letting me be a part of this milestone in their lives 💓

As a photographer, I find that observation is the key to growing in our craft. By taking a moment to slow down and observe the ongoings of life around us, we’re able to gain a greater perspective of the world.

That perspective defines our work. It gives heart and soul to the photos we capture. It makes the difference between just an average frame to one that speaks in ways that words cannot describe.
