Okay, so I asked you guys: when I post a session, do you prefer seeing ALL the photos, or just a handful of the highlights?

And the survey says… somewhere in between!

I think we’ve found the sweet spot: not every single photo, but more than 10. A few more poses, little variations, and moments from the session—while still choosing the highlights.

Basically, people want to see more of the session without scrolling through 10 versions of the same pose. Fair. Taking this advice, I'm going to try adding more volume and more variety from my sessions to my posts!

Testing testing...

I typically only post a few of my favorites photos from a session, but lately I've been curious if people would rather see a LOT more of the gallery.

So we’re putting it to the test with MaKenna’s senior session at Kohler-Andrae State Park. Facebook only allows 80 photos per post so we are around 64 (half of her gallery).

Do you prefer a few of the favorites, or do you like seeing more of the different poses, little moments in between, and variety from the whole session?

Feel free to weigh in and help out a photographer who doesn’t like having to post on social media :)

Had such a fun time with these two while I was back visiting Wisconsin.

Ashlyn + Justin’s chemistry was unmatched. I truly felt like a fly on the wall for most of their session—they embraced every prompt, laughed their way through it, and genuinely just enjoyed being together. Those are always my favorite sessions to photograph.

I can’t wait to be back for their wedding in October

Speaking of October—I’ll be back in Wisconsin around both the beginning AND end of the month, and I’d love to squeeze in a few more sessions while I’m there!

From the stunning architecture, elegant staircases, and incredible natural light, San Francisco City Hall is the perfect backdrop for timeless, sophisticated photos.

I’ve been a little MIA lately because life has been BUSY! Luckily, I still have plenty of sessions to share, starting with Kylie and Gavin’s session in Redwood Regional Park.

One of my favorite things about being a California photographer is getting to explore so many different landscapes—from coastal beaches to towering redwoods. Every location brings its own unique beauty, and Redwood Regional Park never disappoints.

So excited to finally start sharing some of the memories we’ve been capturing around the Bay Area! 🌲❤️
