📕 Book recommendation time, because I have so many pregnant mamas who follow me! 📕

Real Food for Fertility & Real Food for Pregnancy are two AMAZING resources for all women, from preconception through postpartum recovery! I’ve never seen a manual so thoroughly cover EVERYTHINGGG you need to know for healthy hormones and a healthy baby! It really revolutionized my approach to my own health and nutrition and I recommend these two books to everyone I know. These books should be your nutrition bible even if you’re done having babies! I also recommend following for more info on these topics as well.

There’s something so sacred about these first days as a new family ❤️

The first morning we woke up at home with our new baby… that’s when it hit me that this was all real, and she was ours forever. Everything in the hospital felt like a blur, a strange dream. But in the quiet of those first mornings at home, I finally sensed the sacred bond of motherhood.

Now as a photographer I get to witness this sacred bond, camera in hand. Creating photos to be cherished for years, and decades, and generations.

Re-emerging from my holiday hiatus!! I’ve felt very MIA but I’m ready to get back into the swing of things! I’ll finally be posting galleries that are, ohhh, say 6 to 9 months old 😅 I’m also excited about some new website updates, branding packages, calendar tweaks, lighting & lenses, and more coming down the pipeline for 2026!!

📸 This fall, I had a series of mini sessions scheduled at a gorgeous downtown rooftop I’ve loved shooting at for years…
⁠
But when I arrived — surprise! 😅 The entire rooftop was wrapped in construction scaffolding.
⁠
So my amazing families and I pivoted, found a new downtown spot on the fly, and honestly… I love how this location turned out! ✨

All this from just a quick 20-minute session, and now I think this might become next year’s “urban minis” location! 🏙💛
