Big news! Coming early 2023. Photoworks is getting a restored and working vintage analog Photobooth. We are working with the talented folks on the project. This booth shown here will be available for all to use with the swipe of a credit card. The photos are processed inside in an actual chemical bath. Many more details to follow including cost and a host of related products. This mid century modern booth will be featured prominently in our shop. We can’t wait!!

Join us this Thursday for the opening reception of "Happened Upon," a curated photography exhibition featuring film photographers from the local community.
There will be drinks and great company!

We'll be doing a raffle at the event featuring some Photoworks swag and other coveted items:
- Photoworks tote bag
- 3-pack of Fuji 200 iso 35mm film
- 1 roll of CineStill 400D
- 1 full Photoworks punch card (valid for free processing of 1 roll of film)
- 1 copy of Pamplemousse Magazine Fall Issue

One raffle ticket per attendee, no purchase necessary. Raffle drawing will take place around 7:30pm.

We're doing another exhibition! 
"Happened Upon"
Opening Thursday, November 10th 6pm-8pm

Photos of subjects that caught your eye, unexpected street scenes or even a place you stumbled upon and keep returning to. 
We encourage any and all skill levels to submit. If your work wasn't selected last time, give it another shot! 

Guidelines:
- SF/Bay Area based Photoworks customers*
- Submit up to 5 images
 - color or bw FILM (35mm or 120)
- JPEG or TIFF images that must be sized/cropped to 8x10, 8x12 or 11x14 and at least 150 dpi at size
- email photos to [email protected] with the subject line "photo submission" - or send a Google Drive or Dropbox Link

Submission Deadline: Thursday, Oct. 27th at 6pm
*photos can be taken in any location but we want to showcase our community so we're only accepting Photoworks customers.

We were delighted to have artist and photographer Nora Lalle '05 visit this week on her creative exploration of nostalgia.

Founder of , she will host the Launch Party and Exhibition of this summer's Pamplemousse Magazine tonight . Nora is connecting members of the art and film community, and we are proud to have her as part of our SFS community.
