The Presidio holds a special place in my heart. Not only is it rich in history but I had the pleasure of working there a few years ago .
It was a military post in 1776 and played a significant role in every major conflict through Desert Storm. In 1994 it joined the national park system. Today it’s being targeted by the new administration. I’m devastated to see that they’ve set their targets on such a beloved and historic place in San Francisco. My hope is that if enough people show their outrage of this proposed order they will leave it alone. 🥺

Someone asked me recently what’s my favorite place that I’ve ever been to. While I haven’t traveled much in my lifetime, I can safely say that Yosemite is magical and everyone should get to experience it at some point in their lives.

Nature is healing! It’s been a challenging year for everyone with the pandemic. I’ve been quarantined alone for months and experiencing a lot of depression watching everything that’s been going on with job loss, sickness, death toll, social issues, and so much more! Therapy to me is escaping to nature and I had the opportunity to get out and see some incredible fog this past week. These were shot about 30 minutes apart and I couldn’t decide which one I liked more so I’m sharing both. Stay safe everyone!

I wanted to check in with everyone to see how you’re holding up in these tough times? How are you spending your time lately? We’ve been in shelter-in-place for a week and I’ve been staying busy by digging into my hard drives and processing photos I haven’t touched from past adventures.
This was a rare treat of a sunrise 2 years ago. Even though Yosemite is now closed to the public, they have access to webcams and videos on their social media. We can all enjoy the beauty from the comfort of our living rooms. Stay safe everyone! 🙏🏻
