Photographing a delightful family of five in Walnut Creek was an enchanting experience. The two adorable girls, aged 4 and 2, added an extra layer of charm to the session. Positioned on the crest of Mt. Diablo during the magical sunset hour, we seized the opportunity to capture light and airy images that mirrored the warmth of this family. The radiant glow of the setting sun painted a picturesque backdrop, accentuating the joy and love shared by this beautiful family.

A Beautiful Day on Lover's Lane, Perfect for Family Photos

We had the pleasure of photographing this amazing family on Lover's Lane, San Francisco on a sunny day.

Supposedly we planned to shoot in the Presidio where we could get the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, but the fog was extremely dense that day so we have had to change the location to Lover's Lane. We have communicated with the client about this backup plan if the Bridge was covered by the fog and became completely invisible.

Only 6 minutes drive away, Lover's Lane was in bright day light. Isn't it insane how the weather can be so different even though we were in the same area (Presidio)? While the upper part of Presidio was densely embraced by the fog, the other areas were perfectly sunny.

We were glad about the change because the child could run freely in the woods, allowing us to capture this beautiful moment.

It is much safer to shoot in Fremont than San Francisco! The clients drove from SF to Fremont for the photoshoot but it rained during the session. But it got me excited because rainy family photos are a different type of vibe if we can add something fun! The bubble umbrella that we shopped from Target last year finally it came into our service 😍!
The kids were SUPER cooperative to put up with the rain. For those photos without the umbrella, it was still actually raining.
