SUMMER IS HERE!! ☀️ Hydrate with pocari sweat 🌊🌊

I set a few objectives for myself to accomplish while photographing and retouching this photo set: 1) can I get close to imitating the look of darkroom print scans; 2) can I simulate a specific studio lighting look in post production; and 3) how can I upgrade my e-commerce flat lay photos? This led me finding specific reference photos, applying new retouching methods I’ve picked up, and honestly just exercising not rushing through everything.

Please to say that I’m v happy and proud of the results!! Thanks Jeff for being down to model this project 😁😁

A departure from NÜFLY

Hola friends! I want to formally announce my decision to step down and exit from my role as Art Director at NÜFLY to further pursue a career within the fashion industry.

It has been a journey for nearly three years leading a team that allowed me to connect with so many amazing friends and individuals. However, my personal growth is leaning towards a different direction that I’m deciding to explore, free from any form of constraints.

A special thanks to for embarking this journey with me back in 2019 when NÜFLY was just an idea at Philz coffee. Thank you for being my right-hand man when it came to all graphic design and brotherly matters. Thank you for always being there and assisting on set. Thank you for your ever-flowing guidance in business structure and shared film photography enthusiasm. Thank you for being the best Webflow sifu.

And thank you to all my peers who have supported my journey so far!! I’m confident and excited to share more stories and concepts I have in mind. Also, I’m actively searching for photography/retouching opportunities within the fashion industry in LA! Please send any info my way. 😁😁

Hello friends! 👋🏼 I am excited to share a project I have been working on for the past few months!

The story began late last year when we were producing NÜFLY’s first t-shirt and noticed there was a typo in the printed copy. This created quite a problem as the product wasn’t shippable. We have members in our team who are advocates for repairing clothes and proposed we add patchwork + new designs on the shirt to repurpose the t-shirts rather than discarding them. The team then reached out to to select scrap fabrics and commission her to design+sew on our envisioned patch layouts. We then worked with to help us achieve a screenprint that fit over the existing design+patchwork.

This whole process took the form of an entirely new product that I’m so excited to share with you!! Pre sale is now live if you wanna secure the limited quantity t-shirt, and take home a collaborative art piece made with love. ☺️☺️
