Eight days across the Middle Land. 🏔️

From golden sunrise over the Kinnaur Kailash range to the little monks of Ki, the prayer-flag passes above Kaza, the turquoise braids of the Spiti river, and one last chai before Chicham — this land gave us everything again this September.

Endlessly grateful to the group who trusted us with their first Spiti chapter. You made a hard, high, cold, beautiful week feel easy. 🧡

We don't rush these trails. We wait for the light, we travel small, and we let the place do the talking.

Goa in the monsoon — the other Goa, behind the beaches.

Everyone knows about 30 kilometres of Goa's coastline.

Behind it, the state keeps going — into paddy fields, laterite hills, waterfalls that only run for three months, and villages where the monsoon is the busiest season of the year.

This is Goa in the rain. The fields flood and the planting begins. Whole families work the terraces. Children walk to the temple with umbrellas through the greenest fields you'll see anywhere in India.

Every guide tells you not to visit Goa in the monsoon. I think they're protecting it.

Every year on Ashadhi Ekadashi, the village of Marcaim gathers at the Devaki Krishna temple and does something the brochures never show you: they play in the mud. Wrestling, games, colour, devotion — a celebration of Krishna's childhood, when he played in the fields with his friends.

No filters, no staging. Just a village, the monsoon earth, and a tradition centuries old.

This is the Goa that lives past the beaches.

This August, we're taking a small group deep into the raw heart of Zanskar — a photography expedition built entirely around chasing the light. Ancient cliffside monasteries. Glacial rivers. High mountain passes. And the Milky Way arching directly over Gonbo Rangjon. 🌌

The heartbeat of a Goan village during Sao Joao. 🌿🌧️

​There’s nothing quite like celebrating this festival in a small village. Starting the day with the beautiful tradition of taking a massive kopel to the homes of newly married couples to bless them, before the entire village marches down to the local well.

​The energy when everyone jumps in—from the ground to the drone views—is pure unbridled joy. Viva San Joao! 🌊✨
