Specialize on portrait and sport event My passion for photography started at a very young age.

Fascinated by my father’s prized vintage camera and the images in my sister’s fashion magazines, I began trying to reproduce and capture everything I was seeing. I was amazed by those western TV commercials and the big billboards. Later on, I started to document family reunions, sporting events and cultural festivals with my sister’s Canon PowerShot camera. I was pretty satisfied and excited with

the results. As a self-taught photographer I’m constantly finding innovative and creative ways to capture light, composition, and subjects. After moving to San Francisco in 2018, the beauty of this old city brought out and elevated my love for capturing people, structures and landscapes. My goal is to travel the world and capture more beauty through my view finder.

A couple weeks back, Paul Chen and I met near the Ferry Building to model for each other. It definitely helped me relax a bit and actually enjoy being in front of the lens. It was also a great opportunity to test out my Nikon N80 with Fuji 400—and the results did not disappoint.

Just got my rolls back from Saturday’s Black Rodeo here in Oakland, and man... what an experience. I shot Kodak 400 and just allowed myself to go with the flow.
Lately, I’ve been caught in this constant tug-of-war between film and digital. One is expensive but dripping with charm; the other is limitless and infinitely customizable. It really makes me step back and ask: Who am I as a photographer?
Anyway, enjoy these frames and don’t hesitate share some feedback have a great week.

Couldn’t wait to share this—tomorrow is the final day! was phenomenal. The energy was incredible, and everyone was so lovely and kind. As someone who shoots film, digital, and medium format, I definitely missed having my telephoto lens, but this was my first time attending and it’s officially becoming a tradition. Can’t wait to develop my film tomorrow! 🤠📸 in the meantime enjoy this series.

Hope you’re doing well, brother!

Had a pretty eventful weekend documenting the vibe and energy of the Fillmore District. Walking up and down the avenue for a couple of hours left me with a lot of questions. Historically known as the “Harlem of the West,” I found myself wondering: where is the Black community today?
With that question in mind, I intentionally shifted my focus toward capturing Black joy in the spaces it still holds. Swipe through to see my observations from the walk. As the last slide says, let’s “Watch each other grow.” 🖤✨
